nights in Las Vegas, NV was where we spent our holiday! It turned out to be a really fun vacation. We got to see a few shows, (The Magic and Tigers of Rick Thomas, and V-The Ultimate Varity Show) ate at some amazing resturants (The Grand
Luxe Cafe - my favorite), got out and took a pi
cture by the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, spotted Elvis, bowled, saw a movie, watched the fountains of Bellagio, went to the kids science museum, and visited the Old Mormon Fort. All of this done together! It was a nice expierence to just spend time with each other and reconnect in our own family unit. The first night w
e took a drive down the strip, the ooohhhhs and aaaahhhs for all the lights, and the volcano euruptio
n were great. I had never stayed more than a night passing through, and had a great time. We even stopped in Calico (ghost town outside of Barstow) for some "old west" expierence. Terry broke the law, but Sheriff Bruce took care of him! :-) I missed being with my family (all 3 Christmas celebrations) but having just my boys and husband to bond with was worth it.
